Why IPOB Sit-At-Home Order Over Buhari's Scheduled Visit Should Be Disregarded By South-East People

The recent sit-at-home order made by IPOB reminded me of an Igbo adage that says, "Where a child got a snail, there is where his eyes are drawn". As it seems, the past partial success they recorded in their last sit-at-home order has forced them into thinking that sit-at-home should be an everyday thing in the South-East and the only way of getting their voices heard.

Presently, IPOB Director of Socials, Chika Edoziem, has ordered that residents of South-East observe another sit-at-home in protest of Buhari’s visit to Imo State on Thursday. This recent move is coming days after the group declared September 14 as a sit-at-home day in solidarity with their members that died in Aba, Abia state a few years ago.
