Why Igbokwe Of APC Said PDP Wants To Return To Power In Nigeria But Does Not Know How To Go About It

 official Facebook page, the spokesperson of the ruling All Progressive Congress, APC, Lagos State Chapter, Joe Igbokwe, who doubles as the Special Assistant to the Lagos State governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Drainage and Water Resources, has argued that the opposition Peoples Democratic Party wants to be the leading party again in Nigeria, but apparently they don't know how to go about it. 





According to the outspoken APC chieftain, the ruling APC would not give them any chance to rule Nigeria. He made it clear that APC is not ready to show them the way to the Aso Rock Villa, and that to him is a top secret to be kept close to the hearts of the party faithful and loyalists. 

Indubitably, PDP has been rocked by a series of crisis in recent times following the defection of governors and other politicians who have been strong supporters and financiers of the party.

 It could be recalled that some months ago, the governors of Cross Rivers State, Senator (Prof.) Benedict Ayade and his counterpart in Ebonyi State, Governor Dave Umahi, had dumped PDP for APC, owing to reasons best known to them. 





On the part of Umahi, the PDP has neglected people of the South East and have denied them an opportunity to taste power at the federal level. He also accused the party of not being fair to its members who have remained loyal to the now opposition party since its inception. 

However, Ayade has made it clear as at the time of his defection to the ruling APC that he left the party to work with Mr President at the centre.
