The New Directive By Gov. El-Rufai Could Make Many Cattle Investors In The State Go Bankrupt

The executive governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai, has reportedly given directives that ban the transportation of cattle or goats and other livestock in or out of the state. This directive is expected to take effect from today, September 2, 2021, and was made known by the Kaduna State Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan. This directive may be a result of the frequent bandit attacks and kidnappings in the state. This order could, however, make people who deal with cattle and other livestock go bankrupt.
